Appearance: Kuona is a thin, long legged lioness. She has a dusty, dark brown pelt with darker, 'wriggly' - for lack of a better word - stripes; three on each foreleg, four on her forehead. She also has darker marking on her nose bridge, same shade of brown as her stripes. She bears an icy blue right eye - her blind eye, whilst her other is her natural eye colour; chestnut brown. She has long furred cheeks, and a grey 'outlander' nose.

Personality: Kuona is a determined lioness; she always has. It's what has been kept her going as a rogue; she does not wish to obey anyones rules and often does not cooperate with other lionesses. She is a skilled fighter and hunter, these skills together with her upfront, determined and pushy attitude make her easy to pick out from a normal pride lioness. She is often sarcastic, lazy at times and brave.

With all these qualities, it is often expected from her to be quite a feminist - when in fact, she would be more perverted than a typical, rogue lion. She knows exactly what males want; she will use this to her advantage, whether using them for protection, some of their kill or being in a pride temporarily with a high rank to take a break from being rogue; but she will never mate to them. She does not want cubs; she has made that clear. Though often she finds other rogues - banished mothers with cubs, younger lion/lionesses just barely out of cubhood or pampered ex-princes - and allows them to tag along with her, taking care of them, teaching them to hunt and sharing her kills with them until they get back on their paws. This shows she does have a compassionate, sympathetic side - which rarely is shown.

History: Kuona was one of the results of her fathers encounter with three seducing lionesses; she and her brother were born to the blind, beautiful Novalee. As all the cubs were born from the lionesses, them all being rogues, begged Jahari to take the cubs with him to his home pride, and he accepted. He raised the cubs as he and his mates own, as she was unable to bear cubs. Along with seven other cubs, Kuona grew up happily, and was trained as a huntress with many other lionesses as she was barely out of cubhood. Her father, as she was beginning to hunt, also taught her to fight instead of her brother, Fujo, as he was fully blind, like their mother.

Soon, however, she became annoyed with the prides behavior and left; her brother attempted to follow, but easily got lost and she returned him to the pride. She continued on her journey, making enemies and short lived friendships, until she found a place with easy prey - the Pridelands. She mingled on the freelands, however, and formed a sort friendship with the Outlands; she may or may not join them.

Rp Sample: Walking through the Outlands, Kuona paused, knocking away a bone in her path. Continuing on towards the border between the Outlands and Pridelands, she paused, standing by a shrivelled, dead tree. The Pridelands were dying, she observed; she had also heard a new King had come into power, the younger brother of the former. Meh, she thought. Droughts happen all the time. It won't last long.
