Appearance: His fur is a dull sandy tan color, with pale undermarkings, paws, and muzzle. His main is a strange mixture of brown colors, long in the front and generally messy in appearance. When trying to impress, he can clean up his look and hide his claws, but when he is on his own, his ebony claws are free to hang loose, and they are sharp and deadly. His muzzle is long and sharp, and his cheeks are sunken in, a testament to his poor diet as a rogue. The tips of his ears are dark brown, the same hue as parts of his unruly mane and tail tuft.

Personality: Korofi is completely unable to sympathize with others. He sees life has being what he can make of it, and will take whatever he can get, however he can get it. He is cruel, spiteful, cowardly, and deceitful. He is the type of lion who will kill for the thrill of it, if he thinks that he can get away with it. Now that he has reached maturity, his interest in the females of his species has piqued, and he would gladly spread his genetics throughout the savanna if he can find a weak lioness unable to stop him from doing as he pleases. Korofi has no desire to raise any of his offspring, and feels he is being more than generous by allowing the mother to continue to live her life. He has no problem living alone, but can turn on the charm if he thinks it will help him to further his goals.

History: He was born in a peaceful mountain pride. The product of a highly religious pair of lions, the light colored male was given the name Ghafi ("insignificant") at birth so that he would always be humble and remember his place in life. He had one brother named Kijitu ("small"), who lived up to his name -- meek, quiet, shy. Ghafi was born second, but his personality was huge compared to his brother's. Still, because he was not first born, Ghafi did not get all the attention and adoration he felt he deserved, and he grew resentful of not only his parents and sibling, but his pride and his faith, as well.

When he reached adolescence, he decided to change his name to something more suiting, and decided to call himself Korofi. His parents, peaceful and prayerful, were horrified. They tried to gently guide their son back to the path of the light, but the young lion had a dark streak in him that no one could urge away. One night, in a fit of rage and pent up anger against his family, he killed his mother for speaking out against him one final time. He was still a teenager, but was already bigger than his serene mother, and he murdered her in cold blood. Rather than face banishment and the devastated faces of his pride, Korofi decided to flee the mountain kingdom instead to become a rogue.

Like kindred spirits, he met Scar near the borders of the Pridelands. The dark king instantly took a liking to the young, brash male, and allowed him to live just within his territory without consequence. In return, if Scar ever needed a favor from Korofi, he would get it. Now Korofi is an adult, and his months of living alone have made the cruel lion even more harsh. Scar has decided that it would benefit him to know what his neighboring monarchs are doing, and Korofi will be his spy, if he can manage to gain the trust of any strangers.
