Appearance: Duara's coat is of a lighter shade than the normal golden colour, it appears to be more of a sandy colour, but she prefers it that way. Around her eyes, it is a few shades even light, but other than that her entire coat is of the same colour, except for the tuft of her tail, which is a rich, coffee brown. Duara's eyes are magnificent purple, that become slightly lighter when she is happy, and darker when she is angry.

Personality: Though many that she is friends with and surrounded by a fiercely out-going and independent, Duara is the more quiet and reserved type. She prefers to listen than to talk, and has a gentle nature. It is for this reason that Duara surprised many with her ease to go from complete calm and neutral to rage, but she is passionate about protecting her lands and the ones she loves, and when those are threatened gone is her calm.

Duara is nurturing and enjoys to play with cubs for their amusement. She also can sometimes be a lioness that says only words of wisdom in situations, and when pressed for more details only smiles and turns away. Duara enjoys helping others in need, and protecting those who also need it. She is not a lioness that would turn on you, for she is loyal and faithful.

History: Duara was born the first child to Tova and Nenne, for they had much trouble with creating child beforehand. She came as a welcome relief, and Duara lived the years as an only child, which was a rarity among the lions but she did not mind. Duara's childhood friend who she cares for deeply was Nyota, and when her friend, or as she prefers to call her, sister, suffered form loss, so did Duara.

Growing up, Duara was raised to be kind, gentle, loyal and always protect those you love. Her father was slightly on the strict side, so he was constantly training and scolding her for wanting to play with a butterfly instead of practicing her movements. It is from her father she learned discipline and skills in fighting, and from her mother she learnt gentleness, loyal and the gift of being kind.

When Nyota lost her family, Duara lost her own, including a mother who was with child. It was emotionally crushing for Duara, and it is where she found her vicious protection of one's she loved, for she vowed that never again would anyone touch those that she cared about.

Rp Sample: Duara's head rose as she heard the sound of approaching hooves, and her ears pricked up as they turned to where the noise was coming from. She stretched, her tail flicking up in the air, and arose from her lying position to investigate the sound of hooves, but soon it sounded like hooves thundering along the ground. Her stomach rumbled lightly as she sat and examined the area, her eyes spying a herd of Zebra who had stopped their galloping to graze. With a smile, she crouched low to the ground, so low in fact her stomach was grazing said ground, and crept along. She grass rustled gently beneath her, and she kept her movements slow and precise so that she would not sound like an approaching lioness. With one final step forwards, she laid herself flat against the ground and readied herself to pounce.
