Appearance: She is the spitting image of her father, with fur the shade of rich mahogany. Her undersides, muzzle, and paws are light tan. The biggest difference between Giza and Scar are the colors of her eyes. Dark brown encircles her sky blue eyes. Her ears are rimmed in jet black, and her little nose is black as cole, as well. Her mischievous nature is apparent on her features, and her face is highly expressive. If she is angry, anyone around her will be able to tell. If she is displeased, her nose wrinkles in disgust. Her elders may consider her rude, but her facial expressions are beyond her control.

Personality: While most cubs are active, bordering hyper, Giza tends to be more lazy. She loves to sleep, and napping is one of her favorite activities. When she does leave Pride Rock to play, she often tests boundaries, lurking near dangerous areas or too closely to the borders. Her siblings are a huge part of her life, as there are few other cubs in the pride at this time, but she has tense relationships with most of them. While she enjoys playing with her litter mates, she thinks they are silly for constantly seeking their father's attention. Giza sees her father as being rather strange, and his presence seems to make her uncomfortable. She avoids Scar whenever possible, and he makes no special attempts to be close to the cub, despite the similarities in their appearances.

She finds it amusing when her siblings get into trouble, and has no qualms about tattling on her brothers and sisters if it means they will be punished. She is especially rough when it comes to Kifu, the only male of her litter, because she is acutely aware that her parents only wanted sons. Tasa is likely the strongest cub of the litter, which makes Giza secretly jealous, and the little dark cub strives to prove that she is more tough than any of the others... That is, when she's not cat napping with her mother back at Pride Rock.

Family: Parents: Scar and Heshima. Siblings: Tasa, Ari, Kifu, and Mheetu (half-brother)
History: Born of greed, Giza is one cub produced in a litter of four to the Pridelander lioness Heshima. The king of the Pridelands had decided that in order to ensure his legacy, he would need strong sons to carry on his memory. Scar began to target any female he viewed as an easy target: not weak in body, but who was not likely to deny his advances. He found beautiful Heshima, wandering alone away from the Pridelands, and it took little to convince the meek lioness to bear a royal litter.

Unfortunately for all involved, the litter that soon followed was mostly females, who were useless to Scar. A female could never be the king, and the only male produced was the runt, smaller than all of his sisters. Giza's relationship with her father would prove to be strained from the start. The children of Scar would be brought up as princes and princesses of a kingdom swiftly fading from glory, with no inkling for what life had been before his reign, and no clue what lay beyond the borders of their homeland.
