Appearance: Being on the larger side of the size scale, Chui is slightly taller than many of the cubs his age. Although being taller has its advantages, Chui has ended up more on the lanky side of the scale. His legs are actually slightly longer due to his height and with that he can be a real klutz. However when Chui is an adult the size difference between him and the others of his generation won't be that noticeable, Chui being taller by mere inches over his peers. Inheriting his father's genes, Chui looks the most like his sire. His bright jade eyes however come from his mother while his future mane color comes from his creamy-underbelly. His tawny pelt is a few shades different than most others, usually being either darker or lighter than whomever he stands next to.

Personality: Having both parents dead at the age of six months hasn't effected Chui's personality at all. In fact this fact makes him even more spiritual towards others knowing that his mother resides with the Great Spirits and is watching over him daily. However being a young cub has given him some things that his nature just can't escape. Chui loves to wrestle, usually bugging the elders of the pride while he tackles them to the ground. He is very adventurous, a trait he gained from his father's rogue life, and usually will find himself in the Ashlands or Desertlands depending on how far he can sneak away. Like other Lowlanders the cub would, Chui would rather find himself swimming in the rivers instead of baking away in the heat. Chui is also very stubborn and also hates to lose whatever he is challenged to. Whether it be a fight or a simple staring contest.

Even though Chui is all of these things, he finds himself lonely more often than not and in need of a friend. He'll grow to be an amazing family man and a passionate, caring and understanding lover. Now all he needs is to find someone to share his life with. But that thought hadn't crossed his mind, he is still a cub, and cub life comes first more than anything else.

History: Being born during the time that Scar's power had affected even the glorious Lowlands, Chui has not had a glorious past like many other cubs. The story begins with his mother Aisha, a Lowland female who was around 5 years of age. She grew up alongside many of the other Lowlanders and too had experienced loss due to the wars of the past. Aisha had no living family left, her brothers, nieces and nephews were all killed leaving the darker female to her lonesome. Aisha separated herself from the pride, living a lonely life as an outcast in the oasis of the territory. During her time she met with a leopard named Kitanai who quickly became her only friend. The duo raised Kitanai's two cubs and soon the twins were off on their own, leaving an aged Kitanai with Aisha to care for her. Knowing how lonely the female would be after her passing, Kitanai told Aisha to go out and find a mate to have cubs with herself. The female smiled and promised her. That night Kitanai died, leaving Aisha alone in the world again.

Now with a mission in her heart, Aisha ventured out into the savannah -much to Nyota's distress- to find herself a mate. Finding an old male, the two mated. The male told Aisha that if she ever needed another litter of cubs to find him. But of course that wouldn't be happening. Aisha came home after a few weeks of being away after making sure she was pregnant with the rogue's cub. She was reluctant to integrate herself back into the pride in fear that she would be scorned so she returned to the oasis where she and Kitanai had lived. Although now, Aisha made a few visits to her pride to let them know that she was alright. She feasted with them daily but still lived a life of solitude. Soon after Aisha had her lone son who resembled his father in every way. His head sported a light creamy tuft of fur that would be lost when he reached a few months old (which was a hint of what his mane would be in the future) and it reminded the lioness of Kitanai's two children. She smiled and named the boy Chui, a name that meant leopard. Upon Chui's birth Aisha made it a promise to venture back to the pride more often now that her son was born.

Chui soon grew up strong and lanky, taking in traits from both sides of his family. The cub was taught all his mother knew about the Great Spirits and he emulated that, becoming very spiritual and peace-making at such a young age. He and his mother still lived in the Oasis, but Chui was unaware of why. He often longed for the days he would be able to sleep with the rest of the pride at night. At the age of five months he was starting to become even more lonely. There was no one of his age for him to play with and so he asked his mother the question that would change his life. He asked if it was possible that he had siblings. Aisha, wanting to provide happiness for her son, set out to find Chui's father, unaware that he was dead. Chui lived his days being raised by various pride members for a month. A messenger majordomo had been sent by a neighboring pride. They had found Aisha on their borders dead. Chui was without a mother, something that he didn't really feel sad about since he knew she was with him. But now Chui, like his mother was, is left alone in the world for no one to care for him.
