Appearance:
Sakina is a tiny little cub. She was the runt of her litter and will probably stay rather small for the rest of her life. Her coat color is a nice blend of her mother and father's. It is a light mocha brown with markings on her forehead, her tail and on her hind legs but these may fade as she grows older. Her eyes are blue and she has a lighter brown beneath her chin and beneath her belly that stops right at the base of her tail. The ends of her paws also have this light brown. Her nose is a pink color.

When she grows up, she will be pretty small, at 3'3" and weigh only 270 pounds. She will have sleek and lithe build for a lioness, still with the same muscles that allow them to hunt but almost snake-like.

Personality:

Sakina will be unsure of herself, almost as though she is confused with which way she wants to go in her life. Being as small as she is, she feels weak and inferior to others and that she is good at nothing, probably only hunting but not fighting. Sakina has low self-confidence, and requires a lot of reassurance. She tends to be neurotic, and worries sometimes over insignificant things. Not exactly a drama queen, but someone who is over-anxious.

She has yet to realize her strengths and would make a good cub-sitter if anything. As a cub she will be pretty care-free, but the drama in her life will turn her into a worrying neurotic. She will hate the uncertainty of her life, and will worry about it. Perhaps this is inherited from her father, but not as bad. She can be reassured and does not go out thinking someone is out to get her. Sakina is submissive and will be loyal and obedient to her mate and whoever is leading her.

History:

Sakina's story beings with Shani and Shinikizo. Shinkizo wanted to over-throw Ismahel and take over the Cold Lands in order to make his father proud. He wanted to produce some heirs and so he woo'd the lioness Shani who had come upon the Cold Lands and they produced four cubs in their litter. Sakina was the smallest and the last born. Sakina got to stay with her brothers for the first several weeks of her life, but at one point, they were separated.

Shinkizo took Jabari and Ziko and brought them to the Cold Lands, while Upendo and her remained with their mother. It was a terrible time for Sakina, and she could not understand why she could not go with her father and brothers. Only Upendo was able to stay with her. Every day, Sakina misses her brothers and father, and has a feeling that something else is going on that she does not know, but can not figure out what it is. She only tries to figure out what will happen to her, if she will one day be taken away too to never see any of her family again. The thought haunts her every day.
