Appearance: Ukarimu is a fairly large adolescent lion, which is easy to tell by noticing his large light brown start of a mane, which grows rapidly during late cubhood and adolescence, before reaching a decent length in adulthood. His main pelt is a dark shade of gold(coppery gold) and his muzzle, underbelly and paws are a dull yellow and lighter in comparison to his pelt. His ears are rimmed with dark brown, his eyes are orange and his tail tuft is the same color as his mane. Ukarimu, though an adolescent, has a tough bulid and is very agile, a sign of maturing into an adult.

Personality: Ukarimu is usually calm and able to appreciate life, though he does like to tell a joke or two. He's not at all as playful and adventurous as the cubs, though he enjoys teasing them with a noogie. But, he is temperate in everything and knows when to stop with his antics. He is very welcoming and hospitable to stranded lions or hyenas and is very skilled at making friends with adolescents from other prides. He also greatly respects Ni, he sees him as the "coolest guy ever" and a row-model and his best older friend. He likes to spend time with him a lot.

However, when it comes to his love interests, Ukarimu does his best to win the affections of a girl and is tenacious, and comes with some very intelligent plans and ideas. He's also known to be very crafty and he made certain prototypes of branches in cubhood, because of which he was usually laughed at and called a moron. But now, his reputation in the pride is much firmer.

Family: Son of Kidevu and Naanda; Brother to Amani and Kazi; Nephew of Sarabi and Mufasa; Cousin of Simba. Banished by Scar days after Mufasa's death.

History: Ukarimu was born in the Pridelands to father Kidevu and mother Naanda. His father was a brother-in-law to the deceased king Mufasa and queen Sarabi, while Naanda was Sarabi's sister, and the little lion had always stated that they look almost the same. He spent daytime wandering about with Simba, Nala and the other cubs that lived on Pride Rock, who were usually picking on him for his "inventions". But not Simba. Simba took care of his little cousin and took responsibility of watching him while taking him to certain places.

When news of Mufasa's and Simba's death reached Pride Rock, the whole pride was crushed by grief, Ukarimu as well. That day, he wept like never before, though it hasn't lead to any trauma or stress disorder, he had dealy missed his cousin. Days after Scar's tyrannical takeover, he and his family were exiled from the Pridelands, but they headed to the Elephant Graveyard, where they were seeking efuge from Scar's hyenas. Ni accepted them into the pride after negotiating with his father and pride leader, Kimondo, and they have lived in the Shadowlands ever since.
