Appearance:
Kata is a lithe lioness, her body is long and slender but she's not gangly, having solid legs that are neither too long or short for her body. She is one of the few lionesses that possesses a fringe of hair that hangs long down her face, sometimes covering one of her eyes.She has a silky coat that she takes care of religiously, that is a light caramel color on the top while her undercoat is a creamy beige. Her paws are colorless, being the same color as her top pelt. The insides of her ears share that same color as well as the bottom rim of her eyes, the top of her eyeshades are a light cocoa in color. The tip of her tail is a dark coal black in color just like her nose, as most of her siblings tend to have, a trait bestowed on them by their father.

Her eyes are shaded with a pale yellow surround the iris while the iris itself is a light powder blue in color. It is the lightest of all her siblings and her sister often fawned over them, and said she envied her for them, as they resembled their fathers very closely. Over her left eye there is a trio of scars, thick at the top and thinning out at the bottom, she received them from her mother like the rest of her siblings though she took hers quietly her mother was enraged and got overzealous with the poor lioness though thank the spirits she wasn't blinded like her sister.

Personality:
Kata is truly the youngest of her siblings, she was born last and she most certainly acts like it. She's not immature but she has a sweet innocence about her that most lack in these times, she's the first to be kind to someone and the first to joke and play around with the cubs. She enjoys cub sitting because its the only thing she thinks she's good at, she has two left paws and tends to be rather clumsy, this being the most of the reason for her low self esteem since her failure at being a huntress made her useless to her mother for the most part.

She's a sweet lioness, preferring to bolster others confidence and help them in their time of need. Putting their needs above her own, something she and her sister seem to share. She however has no confidence in herself, believing most of what her mother says about her she thinks that she is truly useless beyond taking care of the cubs when she's asked to. She can be silly but most of the time she'll be quick to make fun of herself or discount her talents if given the chance, if only because she doesn't want others to. She tends to be soft spoken around older lions because of this and does what she's told so long as it doesn't conflict with her morals too badly though when her mother is involved she tends to be subservient out of fear.

History:
Kata's story begins like all of her siblings, she was born to a less than ideal mother, the female had mated only for the purpose of power, hoping one of her children would somehow take her to the top or that she could bear cubs that would get her noticed. Everything she did she did for power, and her cubs were only tools to her, tools that she used viciously and without regard for their well being. Each was trained to fight at an early age, no matter if they wanted to be or not and tutored in the ways of being a proficient hunter in the lionesses case. Iman's mother was the quiet sort of evil, the one that you can't really see until you look too closely or until she just goes all out insane and that's how it would be.

When Scar took power to show her loyalty Kata's mother marked her children with scars across their eyes. Some of her siblings fought the marks and when Hasira finally got to her youngest her anger made her over zealous and the young female ended up with three scars instead of one, but luckily retained her sight and life unlike some of her siblings. She learned on that day it was best not to fight her mother and from then on did as she was told, refusing to run away when Imani offered her to even if it broke her heart to watch her sister go. Her mother was twice as hard on the cubs after she lost a good portion of them but they managed as best they could.

It quickly became apparent that Kata was good for nothing but her looks and even those weren't stellar because of her fringe. As she was clumsy on hunts and shy around males to the point of being awkward she had little in the way of romance as a cub. She spent years under her mother's verbal abuse without any respite as Scar cared little what mothers did with their cubs. Kata was still silly and she and her siblings did what they could to keep each others moral up, with Kata and Chafu taking care of their half blinded sibling Nuru and their meek sibling Tope whom got bullied by most. When Kata was old enough she found herself hiding to escape Scar's notice and spent most of her time around the cubs, they seemed the best repellent for him when they weren't his own and so she found sanctuary being a big cub herself.

Her life has been unremarkable so far, doing what she can to stay unnoticed to the royals and enough to keep her mother happy.
