Sandy Caves This is the place in the desert where there is a large cave. It is protected from the sun, and blends in with the sands. It is cool inside, and is fiercely protected by any who claim ownership of it. However, it is rather difficult to locate. Desert Oasis A small oasis located just beyond the caves, and is a necessity to the pride. It provides them with water as well as attracts the minimal amounts of prey. The short but soft grass carpets it and a few gnarled trees provide them with shade. The area surrounding is hidden by tall dunes allowing for sentries to stand watch on top of these, allowing them to see for miles.	0	0
Boulders The boulders are a nice little set of rocks that the cubs of the Desertlands may play upon. These skills are very important to these cubs and often their play is quite exaggerated. Vulture Cavern A small cavern located on the outskirts of the lands where many a vulture live. The Desertlanders only hunt here when food is unavalible anywhere else. Cubs often make adventures here to see the baby birds and to offer the unedible -by a lion- scraps of meat from the pride as payment for killing their loved ones.	0	0
Sand Dunes A small cluster of dunes create a safe haven for those who are venturing. The Desertlanders also offer this as the place for guests to sleep, and it is sometimes used as the birthing fields for the pride. Mucklands The name has been given by the cubs of the Desertlander pride and it seems to fit the place well. The sand is unnaturally wet and resembles muck. The area surrounds the Desertlander's territory sort of like an ocean does an island and is a neutral zone set up by the pride. Sametu Spring A fresh-water spring that bubbles up from the ground, hidden by a mask of ferns that grow around it. Unfortunately, it is an unreliable source of water for the pride. Most often, it is nothing but a wet patch of mud, but sporadically, and for no apparent reason, it will burst to life and clean water gushes forth from sources unseen. Zamu Plateau A giant slab of sandstone that has emerged from the dunes due to ancient earthquake activity. Crumbled rock and dead weeds litter the weathered surface of the plateau, which has endured countless years of harsh desert winds. From here, one can see for many miles, making it invaluable to the defense of the dry kingdom.	0	0
